After receiving Royal Asset and officially becoming law on 3rd April businesses now have 24 months implementation period to prepare for the Act to come into force in 2027. We will review the requirements of the Act, the impact on the insurance industry and risk management support.

Kim Alcock LLM, ACII, FCILA, AInstLM – Head of Casualty

Kim joined McLarens in 2020 having gained over 25 years experience, working within 3 leading loss adjusting practices and third party administration businesses in the UK and operating at executive team leadership level.

As a member of the Women in CILA group, Kim is actively involved in promoting diversity within the Insurance profession, supporting women to progress through various mentoring activities and programmes.

James Owen BA (Hons), Dip CII – Executive Adjuster

James is an Executive Adjuster at McLarens Loss Adjusters handling liability claims. He entered the insurance profession in 2000 and during this time, he has been employed in a variety of technical roles for dedicated liability practices throughout the North West.

He has expertise in multiple facets of insurance, particularly technical and high value.
