Marine Experts & AI: A Stormy Match Made in Heaven? | Hawkins Webinar

Online
Thursday, 16 October 2025
9:30 am – 10:15 am (UK time)

The use of AI in the workplace is a contentious issue, and the maritime community is no exception. AI is becoming increasingly common in day-to-day operations across all professions. As forensic marine experts, should we embrace the rise of this technology, or should we resist it

Dr Sophie Parsons, Hawkins’ Head of Marine Investigations and Regional Director in Hong Kong, will explore the advantages and disadvantages of using AI throughout the stages of a marine investigation. She will also discuss how AI may influence our role and perception as independent experts.

This is a session being run by Hawkins directly, but due to the content being extremely relevant to our members, we are advertising via our website.
