Performance Leadership and Building Resilience Seminar
In support of the Knaresborough-based charity Henshaws we are pleased to offer 15 free places, funded by the Insurance Institute of Leeds, on Henshaws half day leadership seminar.
This event follows the hugely successful and informative Leadership Seminars which we held in 2023 and 2024. This latest instalment of learning and development in relation to leadership is once again being delivered by Rob Northfield, the award winning entrepreneur and inspirational speaker, along with Tony Dorigo.
The event will be held at Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate, and all proceeds go towards helping Henshaws support those living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities.
The day will comprise of:
08:00 – Breakfast & Registration
08:45 – Start
12:30 – Close
There will be a refreshment break at 10.30am.
The 15 places will be available on a first come, first served basis, and we would ask that registration is a commitment to attend. Booking is ESSENTIAL.

Speakers
- Tony Dorigo, former Leeds United and England footballer, now a highly respected media personality and motivational speaker
- Rob Northfield, International Leadership expert, Inspirational Speaker and Award Winning Entrepreneur
Rob Northfield has over 40 years’ experience in leadership training and business development, and has run several successful training companies.
His career in the training and coaching business started out in Dale Carnegie Training in the 80s. He founded 2inspire (which later became Quarterdeck) and developed an Inspirational Leadership Programme. Now properly retired, Rob spends his time relaxing and taking on charitable ventures.
Tony Dorigo was born in Australia but became eligible to represent England after securing British citizenship. Tony was a key part of the England Football Squad at major competitions for 6 years, including the Euros twice and the 1990 World Cup. At club level he distinguished himself wherever he played but he is perhaps best remembered for being a part of the Leeds United side that won the English League Championship in the 1991 / 1992 season.
Having worked with some of the top names in world football – players, coaches and managers – Tony now enjoys a varied career including media work. Away from his broadcasting work he has been involved in a variety of business interests and ambassadorial roles including working in the field of leadership training and development for businesses and a commercial football consultancy.
