Leeds West Academy host Careers Event

The Interactive careers morning included a speed dating style 5 minute "What is insurable ?" quiz and then a quick overview of the type of careers that can be followed in the Risk and Insurance industry, over 150 pupils over the space of the morning were given the opportunity to tell the institute what their skill set was and the type of career they were looking to follow.

As ever not everyone wanted to work in insurance, the school potentially has 4 Professional Footballers, 3 Fire Fighters, 1 Private Detective and 1 who is "Just going to be Famous", the rest though now have their eyes open to the transferable skills they are learning as they mature and hopefully they will identify a role that matches these.
