An informative & fun in-person evening event providing lots of retirement insights for those considering retirement for themselves, or for their clients.
Hosted by Insurance Institute of Kendal (IIK) supported by PFS Lancashire, Merseyside and Cumbria regional funding.
Whether retirement feels far away or just around the corner, this promises to be an evening full of valuable insights for us, with lively conversation, and great company. This event will also provide useful insights for financial planners with clients who themselves are considering, approaching or experience retirement.

Close to M6 with plenty of free parking available.

- 6:30 – 7:15 pm | Panel Discussion: “Living the Retirement Dream”
- Hosted by Roger Jackson, with panel members Ewan Scott, Ian Callaghan and Julie Calvert (all are members of council for IIK)
- Hear three different real-life experiences of retirement. Expect candid stories, practical tips, pitfalls to avoid, and advice on preparing for and enjoying retirement:
- Ewan – has enjoyed retirement for several years.
- Ian – still working and considering what his future retirement might look
- Julie – retired a year ago and still navigating the transition.
- Audience participation encouraged!
