Speaker biography

Paul Rolison is a Chartered Accountant with 25+ years of experience in the computer industry at a senior management and strategic level, and consults

specifically on IT management and cyber security. Paul holds positions in two computer services businesses.

Yellowspring Ltd provides computer and networking specialist consultancy, installation and maintenance services to companies throughout the South

East of England. The company was founded by Paul in 1999 and now enjoys an excellent reputation for providing high quality support services and

strategic consultancy.

Paul provides consultancy on, and audit assessments of, the cyber and information security standards, namely, Cyber Essentials and IASME respectively.

In addition Paul advises on the implementation of ISO27001.

Paul actively participates in business groups and has been a member of the Institute of Directors since 1986 and has held the position of Chairman of the

Essex branch. Paul founded the Basildon Business Group which has evolved into a leading lobbying group within South Essex and collaborates with the

Basildon Borough Council on business and education strategies. Paul has been recently elected to the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in

England and Wales, and is a committee member of ICAEW IT Faculty.
