July President's Message

Dear Members. Hello all - I hope that you are enjoying our fabulous summer. I really should not complain but it is too hot for me, and my garden (in which I spend much of my spare time) is in desperate need of rain. However, with the sun out and sky blue it really does feed a sense of optimism and positivism. It is hard to believe that I am already 3 months into my Presidential year. July has flown but it feels like we have achieved a great deal. So, from a CII perspective what did July look like?

Annual Dinner 2018 News

The annual dinner of the Insurance Institute of Ipswich, Suffolk and North Essex was held last month. Prior to our AGM, this is a key social event for the year where our members and guests come together to be entertained, network and most importantly, celebrate the achievements of members who have been awarded prizes for outstanding academic achievement and professional excellence.

Dear Members, Well, this is my final President’s message and I can honestly say that I will be sorry to step down from the role. I have gained, grown and learnt so much during my year that I have become kind of attached to the ideology of it; maybe I have enjoyed the power! On a serious note, it is an honour to have been given the chance to take such on a prestigious position, and I hope that I have done it justice. I remember thinking at the beginning of the year, ‘Use this opportunity to make a difference’ - and I hope I have.
