YMC Virtual Quiz Night

We are bringing our popular quiz night to you at home with Steam Director, Stephen Chenery presiding as Quizmaster for the evening.

Free to take part, either on your own, with others in your household or as a virtual team with your friends or colleagues (there is no minimum or maximum limit of participants per team).

There will be six rounds of questions throughout the evening and the opportunity for some friendly rivalry via the online chat function.

Timings:

• Please log on at 6.45pm for a 7pm start (link will be sent in the booking confirmation email)

• 7pm Quiz starts – 3 rounds

• 7.50pm Break - Clap for carers: join the nation in saying thank you at 8pm to all our key workers #clapforourcarers

• 8.10pm Quiz resumes - 3 rounds

• 9pm Quiz ends

As we had to postpone last month's YMC St George's Day Charity Quiz Night, we would like to use this as an opportunity to raise funds for our chosen charity Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest to help with their digital transformation to ensure they can still deliver essential mental health services remotely.

A message from Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest:

Part of the community since 1981, Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest have delivered a range of expert services to those at risk of, or experiencing, mental ill health including:

• Psychological therapies
• Education and employability support
• Recovery and social inclusion activities
• Welfare rights
• Specialist programmes, including those for older people, LGBTQ individuals, refuges and BME individuals
• Peer support

While affiliated with National Mind, we are an independent charity responsible for raising our own funds to support vulnerable people in our local areas.

All the funds we raise go back into our organisation to ensure that nobody has to face a mental health problem alone.
