The future of cyber defence
In this IIL cyber, technology & innovation webinar, Alastair Speare-Cole discussed the future of cyber defence and how this relates to the assessment of risk for the insurance industry.
There is a move from passive external defence to internal active defence based on new technology. The insurance industry needs to align coverage and pricing with this change. This technology combined with agent-based modelling will allow proactive guidance of pricing and real time modelling of accumulation.
By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:
- The technologies available now and
- How the technologies may look in the future
- An appreciation of the gap between current rating practices and accumulation assessments and how they will operate in the future
