Fire Risk and Prevention Update

Jim Glocking will give the annual IICG Fire Risk and Prevention presentation Jim is the Director of RISC Authority and Technical Director of the Fire Protection Association. His career has been varied, ranging from lecturing in Chemical Engineering and Fire Safety Engineering, working as a Forensic Fire Investigator, Head of Projects at BRE/LPC, including large scale fire testing. More recently at the FPA, Jim has continued to undertake research into fire protection with particular emphasis on risk avoidance, reduction and management. Jim will speak about Grenfell and the issues arising from it, along with the changes that he hopes will follow
